  • sleep: 7-8 hours (not consistent, woke up multiple times during the night

  • Feeling pretty hungry. Focus is hard to come by. Going to do 45 minutes of strength training (chest and back) before Early Afternoon Lunch

  • Workout was not mentally or emotionally straining. Used few performance techniques such as imagery, and attention focus to dilute hunger sensation
  • Drank water throughout strength training session
  • Lifted 50-75% of one rep max, 8-12 reps, 6 sets of back and chest exercises, 2 sets of core exercises

*More productive and focused than I thought I would be today. Very direct and to the point with most people. Not really concerned with creating small talk that I deemed unproductive while at work. Pompous on my end?

Evening-Dinner 

-6:30pm: I'm feeling pretty darn hungry! Just left work and I'm guzzling water trying to kill this hunger. I need to actively work on a positive attitude, otherwise I'm going to come across as a complete jerk. Patience Christian. Patience!

-8:00pm: 1 cup pasta, 1 grilled checken breast, 3 cups khale, 1 cup green beans, 2 cups peppers & tomatoes, 1tbsp olive oil

-11:25pm: lay day to go to sleep, somewhat hungry, but not too hungry. I am comfortable and tired. I feel like I am going to sleep well tonight!

  • sleep was difficult to come by last nights. Cheated with 2 corn tortillas and 2 Isagenix chewy snacks.

-1:00pm:

  • Feeling pretty good! Hunger isn't an issue because I've been keeping myself busy with work and focusing on the positive. I took an inventory of my blessing today which I believe has helped me maintain a sense of sincere appreciation for this diet. Additionally, the the positive attitude has reflected on my communication with others. I feel that I am far more pleasant with others today than yesterday [IMO (completely biased opinion)]. 

-1:45pm: lunch 

  • Large salad with salmon, cherry tomatoes, nuts, mushrooms, olive oil ad vinegar 
  • It was delicious
  • Victoria Toujilina approved meal!


-3:45pm: 45 mins strength training (biceps, triceps, and shoulders). Energy level is good. Was able to lift hard without 

-5:00pm: 12 almonds 

-5:15pm:Went to a baseball game had fun with friends!

-9:00pm-12:30am: hang out with friends. Drank 60+oz of water

Daily Journal
Felt incredibly lethargic throughout the day. I thought it might have something to do with the detoxing or the lack of normal diet. I wanted to punch my roommates in the face. Let me be clear, I LOVE my roommates like their my brothers. They simply talked to me, asked how the cleanse was going. I was feeling miseralbe. Naturally they start laughing I I shoot back with, "I'm going to punch both of you in the face...seriously." This 
hungry can be traced to exercising too much. I felt better during exercise and my attidude mellowed significantly. Unfortunately, the exercise made me incredibly hungry. I can't wait until the shake days!
